Democrats Must Take Off the Blindfold
This guidance from messaging expert and screenwriter Billy Ray is essential viewing...
After the release of this week’s episode of The Dangerous Ones, we saw a massive uptick in views and audio downloads. Then we saw that we got an assist from Mark Cuban:
That’s a nice shout-out, not gonna lie.
Our guest on this week’s episode is Oscar-nominated screenwriter and director Billy Ray, known for his work on "The Hunger Games," "Richard Jewell," "Captain Phillips," and "The Comey Rule."
What he said in the episode is resonating widely. It’s some serious tough love for Democrats and, for the record, Ray includes himself in that bucket.
As he says aptly on the show, “when it comes to messaging, Democrats could fuck up a peanut butter sandwich.”
This is not about pointing fingers. Blaming people or even the party as a whole is not incredibly constructive. This is about identifying with clear eyes what has gone wrong on the messaging front and laying out a path forward that can bring people back to the only pro-democracy major party left in America.
And Billy Ray has some compelling ideas on that front. It’s a VERY interesting conversation.

I listened to the Podcast and thought it was spot on. My only disagreement was where he said we need to stop talking about tRump. I think we need to keep hammering away at tRump along side our renewed emphasis on economic issues of prices and jobs and our safety net (which is being shredded).
I'm sorry don't agree with your guest
IMHO he sounds like Chuck Schumers Consultants, handlers. We need strong voices like Crockett RN
