McConnell Retiring
Reports indicate that Mitch McConnell, who has faced questions about his health in recent years, is retiring from the Senate after his current term.
We at The Dangerous Ones want to take this opportunity to say: GOOD RIDDANCE.
Yes - the next generation of leadership in the Republican Party is likely to be just as callus and evil. But Mitch McConnell has been so incredibly destructive to democracy that we just don’t want to have to see his face anymore.
Though he will live forever in the meme-o-sphere.
We will devote some time on an upcoming podcast to a Mitch-roast, and review some of his “accomplishments” that led us to the MAGA hellscape we now find ourselves in.
For now, Happy Mitch-McConnell-is-Hanging-it-Up-Day to those who celebrate.
