We all know that Trump and his enablers want you tired. They want you doom-scrolling, drowning in the latest outrage, whispering to yourself: “Nothing I do will matter.”

That’s how authoritarianism wins - not just with lies, but with despair.

The Dangerous Ones podcast was never about just rehashing the terrible shit Trump and the MAGA cult are up to. We’re not here to be a cable news clone with a podcast feed. We started this project because we believe something bigger: that media should serve the movement. That means being activism-forward. It means helping people plug in, organize, and fight back - with sharp humor, with storytelling that cuts through the noise, and with the kind of fierce community you can’t manufacture in a studio.

And now?

We’re leveling up.

As we announced last week, we’re building The Dangerous Ones Network - a new podcast and media home base for Resistance. Not just one show, but a family of shows. Not just a single voice, but a chorus of voices, all pulling in the same direction: defeating the rise of fascism in America.

Our first new show, The Rising, will premier next Sunday.

Addressing Right Wing Media Dominance

The right wing is miles ahead in audience saturation. In a 2025 study, Media Matters found that right-leaning online media have audiences nearly five times the size of left-leaning media. They’ve spent decades flooding the zone with propaganda - from podcasts to YouTube shows to TikToks that blur the line between “comedy” and hard-right ideology. They own the alternative media ecosystem. They’re in your feeds even when you’re not looking for politics. And we can’t fight that with one show or one voice.

Leaning Into Activism

We need a network that organizes our side of the story. A place where progressives don’t just hear the bad news, but get the tools, courage, and energy to fight back.

The Dangerous Ones Network will:

Challenge the status quo - not just report on it.
Leverage humor - because laughter is a weapon against despair.
Build community - connecting people who might feel isolated, but who are part of something massive.
Think big - because the fight against fascism isn’t won by playing small.
Push action - we’ll constantly be sharing ways to get off the sidelines.

This is not a spectator sport. Democracy doesn’t survive by itself. We need a media ecosystem that doesn’t just describe the fight - but joins it.
