Crazy times, right? Almost as crazy as a white supremacist rapist trying to tell women what to do with their bodies — not for morality’s sake, but to manufacture more babies for their selective genocide campaign. All while defunding healthcare for the largest retiring demographic in American history. Genocide wrapped in bureaucracy.
And as they pass bills that pillage public lands and erase decades of environmental recovery with the stroke of a Sharpie, we’re watching hundreds of years of progress torched by a dyslexic criminal and his cronies — a gang of white-right “Christian” hypocrites doing the devil’s work just so Donnie can avoid prison.
Meanwhile, I’m having reoccurring dreams of marrying an immigrant just to keep her and her children safe in this country. Honestly, it’s the first time I’ve felt a real sense of purpose in a while… and all because I didn’t turn off my YouTube feed. Imagine if I was watching Fox News 24/7 — I’d probably end up like my mom: a full-blown cult member.
She married an ex-Jesuit priest who wrote his thesis on hypocrisy in Catholicism, then spent her life praying for this very moment — protesting for “pro-life” while backing the policies that destroy lives. That’s why I finally wrote her off. Love and light, right?
